Leading aid agency CARE International has opened registration for the fifth CARE Construction Challenge supported by NCE and Ground Engineering. The charity invites teams from across the industry to challenge themselves and challenge poverty.
The CARE Construction Challenge 2014 takes place on Saturday 28th June in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. The rewarding physical challenge will see your teams of 2-4 people from across the construction industry each complete an adrenaline filled marathon distance on foot, bike and canoe.
Teams will raise vital funds to support CARE International, whose poverty-fighting work includes constructing emergency and transitional shelter in humanitarian emergencies such as the recent Philippines Typhoon. Over the past four years, the event has raised more than £200,000 to support CARE’s work, which includes responding to humanitarian crises with emergency and transitional shelter, permanent housing and vital infrastructure. Get your team together and sign up now!
